It's a boy for Fergie and Josh Duhamel!

Finally, actor Josh Duhamel, 40, and his wife, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, 38, are parents. They welcomed their first child today — Thursday, August 29.

And the name is... Axl Jack Duhamel.

Wow, they left out the vowel there. That's so 2013. Bygones. Actually, that's kind of "Black Eyed Peas" of them: Other Black Eyed Peas members (with whom Fergie is very close) play with spelling, i.e., will.i.am and apl.de.ap.

Baby Axl weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces, according to their rep. More details to come.

Fergie's was one of those celebrity pregnancies that seemed to go on forever and ever. We totally thought she gave birth earlier this month, until she shared a photo of her still-very-pregnant self at her second baby shower. The couple announced Fergie’s pregnancy last February, which appears to be right around the three-month mark.
