Editorial internships at Today's Parent

By Today's Parent

Today's Parent is looking for editorial interns!

You are a magazine and web fanatic who is excited about learning the ropes. You have a strong background in fact-checking and story research and you’re happy to help with editorial department administrative duties (e.g., responding to reader letters, vetting PR requests, calling in products, etc). You are active online, have experience with WordPress, and understand the difference between blogs, Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook (and why you should be active on these platforms). You will be given the opportunity to contribute ideas to magazine lineups, write web content, short articles or sidebars, source images and build online articles and galleries.

Internships are reserved for students enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program that requires a work placement for completion of your diploma/degree. Ideally, candidates should be available for three to four months, for two to three days a week, but there is flexibility depending on your course requirements.

Please send your resume and cover letter (with clippings, if you have them) to Kim Shiffman, Managing Editor, at editors@todaysparent.com with the subject line “Editorial Intern.” Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview.
