Celebrity parents who married mere mortals

Jimmy Fallon and his wife, producer Nancy Juvonen Fallon, welcomed their first child earlier this week! Opting to work behind rather than in front of the screen, Nancy co-owns Flower Films with Drew Barrymore. She and Jimmy met on the set of Fever Pitch and were married in 2007.

Christian Bale and Sibi Blazic met while she was working as Winona Ryder's personal assistant. They were married in January 2000 and have one daughter together.

Matt Damon met his wife, Luciana Barroso, when she was a bartender at Miami Beach's Crobar, in 2003. "I was hiding behind the bar because I was getting hassled," he says. "I went [back] and [Luciana] said, 'What the hell are you doing here?' because I didn't work there and I was behind her bar."

They were married in 2005 and have four daughters.

Robert Downey, Jr. and his wife, Susan, met on the set of the movie Gothika (2003), of which she was a producer. Shockingly (heh), Susan turned Robert down a few times before she finally agreed to date him — "He's an actor, I have a real job," she recalls thinking. Ultimately, she gave in (how could she not??), and they were married in August 2005. They welcomed their son Exton last year.

Cuba Gooding Jr. and his wife, Sara Kapfer, were married in March 1994 and have three kids — she was his high-school sweetheart! Awww.

Julia Roberts and cinematographer Danny Moder met on the set of The Mexican —  she starred in the movie, and he was the cameraman. They were married July 2002 and have three kids together.

Meryl Streep and her hubby, American sculptor Don Gummer, met through her brother. They were roommates before they began dating, got married in September 1978 and have four kids.

Patrick Dempsey and stylist Jill Fink met at her workplace. "I had an appointment at her hair salon," he says. "She didn't believe it was actually Patrick Dempsey who she'd be working on because one of the people who made her appointments was always messing with her. She was really surprised when I showed up. And from that moment, we just started flirting."

Patrick and Jill were married in July 1999; they have three kids. 

"Sometimes, in our industry, well, I speak for myself, . . . you don't mature always at the same time," Vince Vaughn has said of meeting his wife, Canadian real-estate agent Kyla Webber. "So I was very fortunate that when I got ready and was open to that, then that person came into my life. You have to be ready to receive that. No question."

Vince and Kyla were married January 2010. They have one daughter together and a baby on the way!

Reese Witherspoon met talent agent Jim Toth at a friend's house. "It happened out of the blue," she has said. "This really drunk guy was hitting on me, making such an idiot of himself, yelling at me. He was like, 'You don't know me.' And I was like, 'Yeah, I know. I don't know you!' Jim came over and said, 'Please excuse my friend. He's just broken up with someone.' Jim was a really good friend, pulling him out of that situation. That's just kind of who he is, a really good person."

Reese and Jim were married in March 2011. They welcomed their baby boy, Tennessee, last year.

Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka (Paul Anka's daughter) met when they were 18 and have been married for 12 years. They have two daughters together.

Drew Barrymore married art consultant Will Copelman (who's also the son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman) last fall. They have one daughter together.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren met on the set of Fantastic Four (2004). Cash was a director's assistant at the time. "Right after I met [Cash], I called my best friend and was like, 'I met this guy and I feel like I've known him forever and I'm gonna know him for the rest of my life," Jessica has said. Awww.... 

Jessica and Cash were married in 2008 and have two daughters together.

Natalie Portman met her husband, French choreographer-dancer Benjamin Millipied, on the set of Black Swan (2010). They got married just last year and have one son, Aleph.

Tina Fey met her hubby, musician-director Jeff Richmond, while working for Second City in Chicago. They say they fell for each other on a date at Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. They were married in 2001 and have two kids together.

Tobey Maguire met his wife, jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer, on the set of Seabiscuit at Universal Studios in 2003 —Jennifer's also the daughter of Universal president/CEO Ronald Meyer. They were married in 2007 and have two kids together.
