Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba recently celebrated her daughter Honor's fifth birthday, hosting a chill soirée at their Beverly Hills home. The star-studded guest list included Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale and their boys, Kingston and Zuma, as well as Rachel Zoe's hubby, Rodger Berman, and their son Skyler.

Jessica shared this photo of herself and Honor enjoying the party (left), with the caption,"Today 5 years ago my sweet little angel Honor came into this world. I'm so blessed to be her mommy." Awww!

Pink

Last summer, Pink threw her daughter, Willow, a second birthday bash to remember. The party was reportedly Sesame Street themed—complete with Cookie Monster and Elmo characters. The guest list included Sandra Bullock and her son Louis, and Selma Blair and her son, Arthur.

Charlize Theron

How to top last year's awesome superhero birthday party? Just last weekend, Charlize Theron threw her son, Jackson, another lavish bash to celebrate his second birthday—this time, at her Hollywood Hills mansion. Guests arrived to a petting zoo of farm animals, including a pony, and balloons galore (see photos here).

Not sure who the guests were this year, but, last year, Jason Bateman and his daughter Maple showed up.

Beyonce

For Blue Ivy's second birthday, last month, Beyoncé and Jay Z went all out (of course). They rented a wildlife park/botanical garden called Jungle Island, in Miami Florida. As TMZ put it, they "closed down an entire theme park—for a celebration that the kid will never remember." Ha!

Celeb guests included Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams of the former Destiny's Child.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden

Young Sparrow's parents, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, reportedly treated him to a Spider-Man themed fourth birthday bash, last September, in their Laurel Canyon, California, mansion. Spidey balloons, a massive banner, and valet service in the driveway were some of the sweet features. Joel personally ushered guests into the backyard, where the bulk of the bash took place—pool party!

The star-studded guest list included Kourtney Kardashian, Jessica Alba and family, Gwen Stefani and Zuma, and Tobey Maguire's wife, Jen Meyer, and their kids.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale

It's said Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani dropped $15,000 on their son Kingston's fourth birthday party, in 2010, at their home in L.A., California. Kate Beckinsale, David and Victoria Beckham, and their kids were among the 100 guests. And the food? Burgers and hot dogs, chicken fingers, fries, tacos, quesadillas, cotton candy and a lavish birthday cake. The activities? The works: face-painting, a bouncy castle, superhero characters, balloon art, actual birds and more.

David and Victoria Beckham

Don't expect anything outrageous from the Beckhams. "We have what I consider to be normal birthday parties," Victoria Beckham has said. "I've been to parties in LA that are mind-blowing. I mean, quite literally mind-blowing. People get cellphones in the party bag, that sort of thing. Fabulous, fabulous parties."

"Ours aren't like that," she continues. "They are normal kids' parties. We'll have a bouncy castle, a face painter."

So, it looks like the £50,000 bash she was rumoured to have spent on Harper’s first birthday party—with the specially dyed pink rabbits...—never happened?

Jessica Simpson

For her daughter, Maxwell's first birthday, Jessica Simpson threw a carnival-themed party. The backyard was transformed into a total fun zone with tons of food: They reportedly set up various food stations serving lemonade, hot dogs, fries, popcorn, snow cones, cookies, cotton candy and, it seems, anything not recommended on the Weight Watcher's program (for which Jessica's a spokesperson)!

The event was set to 70s and 80s tunes and featured face-painting, balloons, swimming—they hired a lifeguard—swinging and playing on the backyard jungle gym.

Celeb guests included Ashlee Simpson and Cacee Cobb.

Kourtney Kardashain

Back in July, Kourtney Kardashian threw a big bash for her daughter, Penelope's first birthday, at Grandma Kris Jenner's L.A. mansion. The whimsical garden party apparently involved a little piglet, a horse dressed as a unicorn and some big pink and white balloons, which Kourtney raved about on Instagram.

“Balloon partyyyyy!” Kourtney tweeted with a pic of the big balloons. “Major balloon party, that is!” (See the photo, here!)

Among the 150 guests, celebs Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and their daughter, North West, joined in on the fun, as well as the entire Kardashian crew.

Britney Spears

For sons Jayden James' and Sean Preston's back-to-back (sixth and seventh) birthdays, last year, Britney Spears reportedly threw a party at Sky High trampoline park and arcade, in Calabasas, California. There were 20 guests at the party including Ellen DeGeneres' special guests, Sophia Grace and Rosie. As for the party food? Pizza, ice cream and a Call of Duty themed cake...
