Beyonce and Jay Z visit Kim Kardashian (and give major baby bling)

We've been waiting to see Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's baby girl, North West, for six weeks now. But... nothing yet — which is kind of surprising for the reality-TV star Kim. But she's all spectacle and drama lately, so it's not so surprising that she's making us wait, if you think about it.

Others haven't had to wait, however. Friends Beyoncé and Jay Z are among the first to see the newborn. They paid a visit to Kim last Sunday, at grandma Kris Jenner's home, where Kim, Kanye and the baby are currently staying as Kim adjusts to new motherhood.

Shockingly, Kanye wasn't even there during the visit. He's apparently in Milan, Italy, right now. So Beyoncé and Jay Z spent the morning with Kim and North; they left their 18-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy, at home for this visit. Why so shocking? Because we all thought Beyoncé wasn't the biggest Kim fan... to put it mildly.

But it looks like they're friends. If baby visits aren't indication enough, check out the bling they've bestowed upon North so far.

Last month, reports came out that they spent $8,000 on gifts for North — including personalized Christian Dior booties and a sterling silver designer baby set with the baby's name engraved on it. Wait, there's more: They gave Kim a $14,000 Swarovski crystal-studded high chair for her baby shower.

And of course, if you recall, Beyoncé was one of the first celebs to publicly congratulate Kim and Kanye: "Congratulations Kim & Kanye," she wrote on her Tumblr with a photo of Kim and Kanye. "Enjoy this beautiful moment together." Awww!
