Ben Affleck: "My wife does everything"

This baby is really, really cute! Such a perfect mix of his beautiful parents, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck (both 40).

Samuel and his mom are photo'd here on their way to the clinic for their monthly checkup, in Pacific Palisades, California. He's now just over eight months old. And, again, what a l'il looker he is in his sweet striped tee. OY! Meanwhile, Jennifer looks stunning as ever in a very pretty leopard-print scarf (want!), a casual button-down and jeans.

In the October issue of Details Magazine, Ben admits Jen does the bulk of the parenting. "My wife's very patient. She does everything," he says. "If I have time, I try to spend time with the kids, even if just to be a physical presence, the bath, whatever. But my mind's always going, 'How are we going to light that shot tomorrow?'"

Ben is having a lot of success lately, as you know, with his hit film, Argo. He's now working on a biopic of Boston gangster James "Whitey" Bulger — the role of which his best friend Matt Damon will play. 

In the meantime, his clearly very busy wife appears to have replaced Oscar-winner Hilary Swank in the role of Dr. Eve Saks in the The Dallas Buyer's Club — the much buzzed-about movie for which Matthew McConaughey's whittling down to nothing (he's lost 30 pounds and looks scary!) to play the real-life character of Ron Woodruff, a heterosexual man diagnosed with full-blown AIDS in the eighties who smuggled in illegal alternative drugs. Fascinating story. It's a pretty huge role for Jennifer.

She'll probably be thinking about it at bath time too.
