Review:

Between busy school schedules, sports practices and games, and long highway drives, Rob and Kelly’s family relies heavily on their truck to keep everything running smoothly. When it came to testing new tires, they were eager to find something that could handle a bit of everything, including daily commuting, longer road trips and occasional rougher back roads—all without compromising comfort.

Upon seeing the tires, there was one feature that stood out immediately. “The first thing I noticed was the tread design,” says Rob. “They looked solid and well-made; I was impressed right away.”

For a big family driving a larger vehicle, versatility really matters. From school drop-offs and early morning practices to long highway drives and weekend trips out of town, everyone’s daily routines relied heavily on the family truck. The Terramax HT2 is designed with this in mind, offering a balance of comfort, durability and all-season capability.

“Driving our family an hour and a half away for hockey is stressful on a good day, let alone in a blizzard,” says Rob. “The Terramax tires and their excellent traction provided the responsiveness needed in both accelerating and braking, helping eliminate one less stress on the list!”

Rob and Kelly tested the tires for over two weeks on a mix of city streets, highways and rural roads, all while battling fluctuating weather conditions which are common in springtime in Canada. “The Sailun tires surprised me with their ability to provide a feeling of control while in bad road conditions,” Rob recalls. “We drove to West London from Waterloo for hockey as a family and were forced to take back roads due to a sudden snowstorm. During stormy weather, you never know what you're going to get in terms of blowing snow and icy roads, let alone on alternate routes, but these tires felt solid and handled great in unexpected driving conditions.”
