These easy buttermilk biscuits go perfectly with chili and soup. Yum!

Ingredients:
1 tbsp baking powder
2cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 baking soda
1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces
3/4 cup buttermilk (well shaken)
Preheat oven to 450F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine baking powder, flour, sugar,salt, and baking soda in a bowl of a food processor.
Add the butter and work (with your fingers, or use the pulse function) until butter resembles peas.
Add buttermilk and stir with a fork until just combined. Knead gently to bring dough together.
Gently flatten and shape dough into a 3/4 in. thick rectangle, then cut into 8 biscuits.
Place biscuits on prepared baking sheet and bake 12 mins or until golden on the top and bottom.
Makes 8 adult servings.
