1/4 cup unsalted butter
2 tbsp chopped, sheeld, raw, unsalted pistachios
2 tbsp sherry vinegar
1 tbsp water
1/8 tsp salt
pinch granulated sugar
1 lb. green beans, trimmed
3 tbsp chopped basil
Melt butter in a small frying pan over medium heat until it bubbles. Add pistachios and sauté for 1 to 2 min or until butter is lightly browned and nuts are toasted. Remove from heat. Add vinegar, water, salt and sugar to frying pan and stir to combine.
Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil and blanch green beans for 3 to 4 min or until tender-crisp. Toss beans with vinaigrette and basil.
