Like so many great inventions, this smoothie was an accident. We were all out of bananas, there was no more chocolate syrup and we'd used up the last of the frozen strawberries long ago. It's delicious.
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream, or frozen yogurt
2 tbsp maple syrup
Measure all the ingredients into the container of a blender and zip to blend.
If the mixture seems too thick (is such a thing possible?), you can add a bit of milk and blend for a few more seconds.
