Add fruit salad to your morning cereal
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped mixed nuts, and seeds
1/4 cup raisins
1/3 cup fruit salad
milk
maple syrup
First, mix your own dry muesli cereal by combining oat flakes, chopped mixed nuts and seeds and raisins. Now place ½ cup (125 mL) of the muesli mixture (or store-bought muesli — not the same as granola!) in a cereal bowl and pour in enough milk to cover; pop a lid overtop and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, stir in fruit salad and a little more milk, then drizzle with maple syrup.
