Dog Bites in Ketchup-Mustard Sauce

0

  • Makes2 to 2 servings

This is pure kid food in its most disgustingly delicious form.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 6 hot dogs, cut into 1/2-in. chunks

  • 1/4 cup mustard, any kind

  • 1/4 cup ketchup

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Dump the chopped onion and the hot dog chunks into a medium saucepan and cook, stirring, over medium heat. You don't have to add any oil because the hot dogs have plenty of their own - wait and see. Continue cooking until the onions are softened and the hot dogs are beginning to brown, about 5 or 6 minutes. Now add the mustard, ketchup, water, sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and let simmer for another 5 or 6 minutes. The sauce should be thickened and the onions soft. That's it. Now just try not to taste it. I dare you.
