3/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 small garlic clove, pressed
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup buttermilk powder
1 small garlic clove
1 green onion, trimmed and cut into 1-in. pieces
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
2 garlic cloves
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp anchovy paste, (or about 2 anchovy fillets), optional
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 cup olive oil
In a blender, combine the lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, anchovy paste, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides so that everything mixes evenly.
Place the lid back on the blender and remove the cover from the small opening in the lid.
With the blender running, slowly add the olive oil to the container, blending until the dressing is smooth and all the oil is incorporated. Makes about 1 /4 cups (300 mL) dressing.
