A Pea Side Dish

Looking for a tasty side dish? This super easy pea side dish has you covered.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup green peas, per person

  • 1 to 2 tsp chopped mint

  • little chunks of butter, (or a drizzle of olive oil)

  • salt

  • black pepper

  • slivered almonds

Instructions

  • Place peas in a steamer basket and set over 1-2 in (2.5-5 cm) boiling water. After 2-5 minutes, peas will be tender; transfer to a bowl and mix in mint, butter, salt and pepper.

  • Top with almonds.
