Looking for a tasty side dish? This super easy pea side dish has you covered.
1 cup green peas, per person
1 to 2 tsp chopped mint
little chunks of butter, (or a drizzle of olive oil)
salt
black pepper
slivered almonds
Place peas in a steamer basket and set over 1-2 in (2.5-5 cm) boiling water. After 2-5 minutes, peas will be tender; transfer to a bowl and mix in mint, butter, salt and pepper.
Top with almonds.
