Upgrade a classic ham and cheese with some leftover pork roast for a Cuban-style sandwich that's layered to impress. Yum!
2 slices multi-grain bread, toasted
1 tbsp mayonnaise
120 g sliced pork roast
2 slices dill pickle
2 slices Swiss cheese
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Preheat broiler on high.
Spread 1 slice of bread with mayonnaise, top with roast pork, pickle and cheese, and place under broiler for 2 min or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Spread mustard on remaining bread and squish onto melted cheese to adhere.
Calories 774, Protein 61g, Carbohydrates 45g, Fat 38g, Fibre 7g, Sodium 1mg.
Excellent source of calcium.
