No self-respecting brunch can be complete without a pretty drink.

- The night before your brunch, pour the can of peaches – juice and all – into a blender and blend until completely liquefied. Refrigerate overnight.
- Assemble the drinks just before you’re ready to sit at the table. An eager assistant can help with this delicate (but fun) job. Into each wine goblet, carefully pour (in the following order): ¼ cup (50 mL) peach puree, ½ cup (125 mL) orange juice and 1 tbsp. (15 mL) grenadine syrup. The grenadine should settle on the bottom of the glass. Don’t stir! Now gently drop in two ice cubes, and carry the glasses to the table. Uh – maybe an adult should do that.
