Blueberry Smoothie

Blend in the morning for a delicious lunch bag treat. Or serve immediately, if you can't possibly wait another minute.


  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 small ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup plain or blueberry yogurt
  • 1/2 cup orange juice


  • In the container of a blender, combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth and frothy. Serve immediately or pour into a thermos (or two) to pack in a lunch box.
  • Note: Although a smoothie will lose some of its frothiness if not served immediately – you can give it a shake before drinking in case the fruit has settled to the bottom.
