Vaguely Oriental Sweet and Sour Sauce

A simple sauce for all occasions!
- 1/2 cup undiluted frozen concentrated pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Asian sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 garlic clove , crushed
- Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan, stirring well to dissolve the cornstarch. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, then let simmer for another minute or so. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. That’s it.
- Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce Stir together equal amounts of liquid honey and mustard. If you like a little bite to your dipping sauce, use Dijon mustard. If not, then use regular. Could anything be easier?
