Deliciously mild curry-ish marinade. It’s a great way to introduce your kids to Indian spices without scaring them off.
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger , chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
- Marinate chicken or lamb for at least 4 hours; fish for no more than 1 hour.
