Tandoori Marinade

Deliciously mild curry-ish marinade. It’s a great way to introduce your kids to Indian spices without scaring them off.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger , chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
  • Marinate chicken or lamb for at least 4 hours; fish for no more than 1 hour.
