Homemade Apple-Cinnamon Instant Oatmeal

Fill them up good with this homemade rendition of instant oatmeal.


  • 1/2 cup instant or quick oats

  • 1/4 cup chopped dried apples

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • pinch salt

  • 1 cup boiling water, or milk


  • Combine dry ingredients. Add milk or water. Stir to combine. Seal Thermos lid and pack.
