Sweet-and-Spicy Mustard

Although this is easy enough for a kid to make, it isn’t really a child’s mustard. Unless, like Jared, your child enjoys startling adults by eating the unexpected. A little sweet, a little spicy, very delicious.
Ingredients

eggs

3/4 cup
packed
brown sugar

2/3 cup
cider vinegar

1/2 cup
dry
mustard

1/3 cup
water

2 tbsp
all-purpose
flour

salt
, to taste
Instructions
- In a heavy saucepan, combine all ingredients and whisk together well.
- Cook the mixture on the stove over very low, stirring or whisking constantly, until smooth and thick.
- Pour into jars and refrigerate. This mustard will keep for several weeks.
