Although this is easy enough for a kid to make, it isn’t really a child’s mustard. Unless, like Jared, your child enjoys startling adults by eating the unexpected. A little sweet, a little spicy, very delicious.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2/3 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup dry mustard
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- salt , to taste
Instructions
- In a heavy saucepan, combine all ingredients and whisk together well.
- Cook the mixture on the stove over very low, stirring or whisking constantly, until smooth and thick.
- Pour into jars and refrigerate. This mustard will keep for several weeks.
