Bananas play host to the best combination; melted chocolate and marshmallow. Wrap them in foil and throw them on the grill for the best fruit dessert.

Ingredients

  • 4 bananas

  • ½ cup mini marshmallows

  • 3 tbsp chocolate chips

  • 3 tbsp chopped pecans or almonds, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat barbecue to medium. Make a lengthwise slit along inside curve of each banana, cutting through the peel but not all the way through banana. Gently open to form a long hollow. Place each banana on a large piece of foil. Divide marshmallows, chocolate chips and pecans among the bananas (it’s OK if some spills out). Seal foil around bananas.

  • Place foil packets on grill and barbecue, lid open, 8 min. Carefully open foil packets. Chocolate should be just starting to melt. Sprinkle with more nuts and serve with ice cream if desired. Grab a spoon and eat straight from foil.
