A simple recipe for Slow-Cooked Teriyaki Beef that will melt in your mouth!


  • 1 kg beef blade , round or chuck, sliced into 1/4-in. strips
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 1-in. chunk fresh ginger , peeled
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil


  • Place the meat into the Crock-Pot. Combine the soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sugar, cornstarch and sesame oil in a blender or food processor.Blend until smooth, then pour over the meat.
  • Cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours, or on high setting for 3 to 4 hours.
