Killer Garlic Shrimp

Crazy, fast, killer delicious and, best of all, guaranteed to keep vampires away. Always a good thing, any time of year.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped

  • 500 g raw, peeled shrimps, (medium to large size)

  • 2 tsp paprika

  • 1/4 cup white wine, sherry, chicken broth or vegetable broth

  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring, just until it begins to golden, about 2 minutes. Add the shrimp and cook, stirring, for 1 to 2 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and are beginning to firm. Sprinkle with the paprika and stir, then add the wine or broth. Cook for about 30 seconds. Remove from heat and add parsley, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Toss to mix and serve immediately.
