Try this maple hot chocolate for a classic winter drink with a syrupy-sweet vanilla twist.
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp to 1/4 cup maple syrup
4 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
In a saucepan, whisk together cocoa, salt, water and syrup until well blended. Gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
