1/3 cup unsalted butter
168 g bittersweet chocolate, (6 oz), chopped
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups vanilla ice cream
2 cups mixed berries
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp Cointreau
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup candy-covered chocolates
1/2 cup gummy bears, cookie pieces, berries and/or marshmallows
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). In saucepan over medium heat, melt together butter and bittersweet chocolate. Let cool slightly.
Whisk in sugar, first egg, second egg, vanilla and chocolate chips. Stir in flour and salt.
Scrape into 2 greased 8 in (2 L) round cake pans; bake in centre of oven for about 15 minutes, until tops are set. Cool completely. Remove from pans and transfer to cake plates.
Top cooled bases with ice cream.
For adults: In a bowl, combine berries, sugar and Cointreau; sprinkle overtop and serve immediately.
For kids: Sprinkle kids' toppings overtop and serve.
Each pizza makes 4 to 6 servings.
