Chocolate-Cherry Smoothie

It doesn't get more decadent than this. Sweet frozen cherries go for a whirl with cocoa powder, almond milk and avocado.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen cherries

  • 2 cups almond milk

  • ½ avocado, pitted, peeled and chopped

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in blender. Whirl until smooth. Garnish with chocolate shavings.

Calories 150, Protein 2g, Carbohydrates 26g, Fat 5g, Fibre 5g.
Good source of Calcium . Excellent source of B12.

Tip:

Switch it up by swapping an apple or banana for the avocado.
