This Baked Pears With Honey Crumble recipe is a game changer. It's all the deliciousness of an old favourite made in a fraction of the time.

Ingredients

  • 2 firm-ripe Bartlett pears

  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans

  • 2 tbsp quick-cooking oatmeal

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp cold unsalted butter

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.

  • Cut pears in half lengthwise, and use a teaspoon to scoop out seeds and core (you should have a small hollow in the centre of the pear). Place cut side up in a small glass or ceramic ovenproof baking dish.

  • Combine pecans, oatmeal, honey, butter, cinnamon and salt in bowl, and work with your fingers until just combined.

  • Divide crumble into 4 portions. Pack into each pear half and over the top. Bake for 25 min or until crumble is browned and pear cuts easily with a fork. Serve with ice cream or a dollop of Greek yogurt.
