The only answer to not being at the beach is to make a tropical smoothie like this pineapple and coconut one.
1 ½ cups frozen cubes of pineapple
1 ¼ cups coconut water
1 cup ice cubes
1 banana
1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp ground ginger
Combine all ingredients in blender. Whirl until smooth. Garnish with pineapple, flaked coconut or pineapple leaves.
Calories 84, Protein 1g, Carbohydrates 21g, Fibre 2g.
Excellent source of Vitamin C.
Make it creamier by swapping coconut water for coconut beverage (you can find it in the dairy case with the nut milk).
