1 8-g pkg traditional active dry yeast
1/4 tsp granulated sugar
1 cup warm water, divided
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp canola oil
3/4 tsp salt
Knead until dough is smooth, about 5 to 6 min. Lightly coat same bowl with oil, and return dough to bowl. Cover loosely with a damp kitchen towel and let stand until dough doubles in size, about 1 hour.
