A little bit tangy and a little bit sweet, here's a fun way to change up the way you make steak. Bring them to your next barbecue and win MVG (Most Valuable Guest).
1 lb (approx. 500 g) top sirloin steak
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp ginger, minced
3 green onions
6 cremini mushrooms
6 wooden skewers
Cut steak into 1-in. cubes. Combine with soy sauce, sesame oil, honey and ginger in a bowl. Marinate for 30 min.
Cut green onions into pieces and remove stems from mushrooms. Alternately thread beef, onions and mushrooms on skewers.
Oil grill. Barbecue over medium, lid closed, until beef is done to medium, 3 to 4 min per side.
