Korean Beef Sticks

A little bit tangy and a little bit sweet, here's a fun way to change up the way you make steak. Bring them to your next barbecue and win MVG (Most Valuable Guest).


  • 1 lb (approx. 500 g) top sirloin steak
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp ginger , minced
  • 3 green onions
  • 6 cremini mushrooms
  • 6 wooden skewers


  • Cut steak into 1-in. cubes. Combine with soy sauce, sesame oil, honey and ginger in a bowl. Marinate for 30 min.
  • Cut green onions into pieces and remove stems from mushrooms. Alternately thread beef, onions and mushrooms on skewers.
  • Oil grill. Barbecue over medium, lid closed, until beef is done to medium, 3 to 4 min per side.
