Review

Calling all preschoolers who love to paint—and the grownups who don’t want to clean up after them! Here is a no-mess paint set sure to unleash your kid's inner artist. Goliath Games’ Paint-Sation Easel includes washable paints that won’t spill, drip or splatter. A unique tabletop easel, paint brushes, and three paint pods in bright, primary colours come with the set, which nourishes kids’ artistic and fine-motor skills. Parents will need to assemble the easel for preschoolers (tip: the packaging provides a better visual guide than the included instructions), but then little ones should be able to set it up themselves each time inspiration strikes. The paint's thick texture means Paint-Sation is true to its no-spill promises, but it also means the paint doesn't go quite as far as thinner paints. If your kid does get some on their clothes or a table, the water-based paint can be washed off with warm water and soap. We also like that the easel folds flat and stores easily, with the paint pods fitting into slots on the easel or stacked neatly away.

The easy painting and clean-up makes it a winner.” —Jennifer, mom of two
