Review

Who says you can't bring the vacation home with you? With Lego Friends Heartlake City Resort, the all-inclusive resort experience is at your child's fingertips as they hang out with Lego friends Stephanie, Olivia, Andrea and Mason and enjoy all the activities the superb seaside has to offer. Like all Lego sets, building this resort from the ground up will encourage patience, concentration and fine motor skills. As well, imaginative play will never run dry with the resort's bevy of features (juice bar, working monorail, two water slides, parasail, dolphin and much more), which parents appreciated. The instruction booklet is a bit of a feat to get through, but coloured images and clear labelling makes it easy to follow along. As with all Lego, parts of the set tend to come apart during play and when moving after assembly, but we all know reconstruction (or building something new!) is a big part of the fun.

Lego has done it again. This set is incredible—they've thought of everything a resort would have, including a monorail! Kids will have lots of fun playing with this toy by themselves or with friends and family." —Candace, mom of one
