Generations have loved Brio for its sturdy wooden train and track sets, and luckily for vehicle lovers of every stripe, the brand hasn’t stopped at locomotives. Enter the Brio Airport with Control Tower play set, which can connect to Brio tracks and town structures from the Brio World system. Little aviation enthusiasts will dig the bright red airplane that opens to accommodate three passengers, a moving baggage elevator, and a light-up safety pylon (batteries are included). The plastic-and-wood set is sturdy, if a bit bulky, and has a few small parts in the form of two tiny staff figures and a suitcase. Assembly is easy, with only two parts to connect, and the little pylon lights up by tapping it gently on a surface. Like other toys in the line, the simple and straightforward Brio Airport set is great for imaginative preschooler play, though its limited scope means it benefits from being connected to a larger Brio town as an expansion set rather than played with on its own—but really, your kid's imagination is the limit.
