If you’re buying online, choose a store that makes the full experience easy for you—preferably free shipping with a pre-paid mail slip for fuss-free returns. If you’re unsure about your size (I was for my entire pregnancy), order two sizes of each style to ensure you won’t end up frustrated or jean-less. While the general rule is to stick to your pre-pregnancy size when ordering maternity clothing, this is just a guideline. Pay attention to the cut (is it loose or slim?) as well as the amount of stretch the denim offers (1% elastane vs 5%). It makes a dramatic difference when it comes to fit.
