For the first time since the big pregnancy announcement, the ever-elusive True Blood star, Anna Paquin, 29, emerges!

She's photo'd here descending with her adorable dog (love!) from the rooftop of her Venice Beach, California, abode yesterday. From the looks of it, Anna was catching up on some email and, of course, some Celebrity Candy.... And she was reading all the latest pregnancy info, checking out some baby names. Of course!

Anna's due in the fall with her first child with hubby/costar/HOT Stephen Moyer, 42. Stephen has two kids from a past relationship — Lilac, 10, and Billy, 12; so Anna knows a thing or two about parenthood.
