BabyCentre U.K. has reported that these 24 old-timey baby names might soon not be around for much longer.
If 2017 feels like nostalgia central to you so far, you're right. With reboots of movies, TV shows and mom jeans on the rise, everything seems like an ode to better years. But while old-timey baby names might be one of the biggest trends of 2017, popular monikers from the '80s are being left in the dust.
BabyCentre U.K. is reporting that 24 classically '80s names weren't registered even once in its system this year and are thus considered endangered. (To give some perspective: BabyCentre U.K has 45 million users.)
While a few of the 24 names are pretty obvious (we're looking at you, Roald), others, like Karen or Ian, might surprise you. Have a look:
