These dads are ready to get their braid on!

Philippe Morgese (a.k.a. MashedPotatoh) is proving that dads can style their daughters' hair—and do it well. He announced on Reddit that he hosted a "Dads and Daughters" hair class. The class took place at International Academy in South Daytona, Florida on Tuesday, where the dads were taught hair basics like ponytails and braids. They also received goody bags with hair accessories and brushes to take home.

While dads doing their daughters' hair may seem uncommon, Philippe is determined to change that. As someone who always receives compliments for doing his daughter's hair, he wanted to help other dads have that special bond with their daughters, too.

Dads in the Reddit community have taken strongly to the idea. "Recently just learnt fishtail, have the double bows and braids down. Daughter's hair isn't thick enough at the moment for french but I can't wait!" says one user.

Philippe hopes to host more classes in the future and encourages other parents to do the same in their town.
