Fostering independence in kids with disabilities

Making your own decisions, learning to speak up, being your own advocate—these are important skills for any kid, but it’s especially crucial for kids living with severe disabilities. The Sunshine Foundation of Canada, partnered with Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital to offer kids a powerful—and incredibly fun—way to practise these skills. They flew them down to Disney World.
