The UK singer may not have topped any charts this year, but in January, he and his daughter, Fenn, captured our hearts (then proceeded to rip them to shreds) with a bittersweet ditty titled “Dinosaurs in Love.” In a video that now has more than 6 million views, the pair spin a tale about polite dinosaurs who fell in love but didn’t get the chance to say goodbye before “a big bang.” Now that we’re in the throes of the pandemic, revisiting the song hearkens back to our pre-COVID innocence: Are we the dinosaurs who didn’t get a chance to say goodbye?
Fenn, my nearly 4 year old daughter, recorded her first ever solo song today. She came up with all the words herself and I helped her a little bit with the tune. It’s called ‘Dinosaurs in Love’. 🦕❤️🦕 pic.twitter.com/erCgG0sUvP
