This week's task and tip:

Don’t sweat over physical activity credits: Are your kids enrolled in soccer, swimming or skating lessons? Now’s the time to start requesting receipts for your children’s sports and recreational activities. Most providers will email or fax you a copy of any payment forms. Parents can claim up to $500 per child, per year. Next year, save yourself some hassle and print out receipts at the time of registration. Find out about other tax credits for Canadian families.
