Get on top of tax season with our eighth weekly task and tip
Join us each week for a to-do and helpful tips so you'll be ready for tax season and save money this year!
This week's task and tip:
Track your trades: Most brokers will mail their clients an annual trading summary, usually sometime in March. If not, start a spreadsheet this week that makes note of the date any securities were purchased or sold, the number of shares and the currency. It’s also a good idea to provide your accountant with the name, phone number and email of your advisor in case any clarifications are needed.
