Mark your calendars, Disney's new dream boat is setting sail soon.

Disney Launches New Cruise Line: 'Heroes and Villains' themed Disney Destiny

Disney

Prepare to sail past the line that separates good and evil as the 'Heroes and Villains' themed Disney Destiny cruise is set to embark in November 2025! Many bold and beloved characters - ones you love and love-to-hate - from the fairy tales and fantasies of Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Disney Parks movies will be on deck, and so should your family.

There is still more than a year before boarding begins, but here's what you should know about this cruise vacation steeped in the lore of your favourite Disney stories so you can prepare accordingly.

Dining on deck

Restaurants

Enjoy dinner and a show Disney-style at Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King - a colourful, musical and delicious dining experience exclusive to the Disney Destiny. After you've Hakuna Matata'd to your heart's content, make sure your family checks out two of Disney Cruise Lines' returning favourite restaurants, Worlds of Marvel and 1923.

Guests have the opportunity to indulge in one of the three dining experiences each night of their voyage.

Cafés and confectionaries

Is anyone in your family a fiend for caffeine or prone to craving a sweet treat? Good thing there are two cafés and a confectionary on board - and they're all brand new! Grab your morning coffee at Café Megara, inspired by Disney Animation's "Hercules," or Café Merida, inspired by Pixar Animation Studios' "Brave," and satisfy your sweet tooth at Edna Á La Mode Sweets, designed to mimic Edna Mode's laboratory from "The Incredibles."

Epic entertainment

Can you really say you've experienced the magic of Disney if you don't embrace the entertainment sector? We don't think so. After a long day at sea, passengers can head over to the Grand Hall - Disney Destiny's most eminent gathering place - to watch their favourite heroes and villains from the Disney universe bring stories to life in an interactive and engaging manner.

Interactivity is intensified just off the great hall at Saga, a two-story, state-of-the-art venue where timeless shows like "Match Your Mate" and "Family Time Game Show" can be engaged in and enjoyed by guests. Extravagant Broadway-Style productions of fan-favourites will also be at passengers' fingertips, with "Frozen, A Musical Spectacular" and "Disney Seas the Adventure" set to take place in the Walt Disney Theatre.

Other entertainment experiences that can be found on board include Pirate's Rockin Parlay Party - a live rock band accompanied by a firework show, and Disney Uncharted Adventure - an interactive experience that guests can engage in digitally to complete ship-wide virtual quests alongside their favourite Disney and Pixar heroes.

Adult-only zones

Adults in need of a wicked escape from the sun, songs and/or screams of children can enjoy the various adult-exclusive spaces that Disney Destiny has to offer.

De Vil's piano lounge, located just off the Grand Hall, offers an extravagant atmosphere and array of cocktails inspired by the fierce and frightening "101 Dalmations" villain, Cruella de Ville. The Cask and Cannon pub and The Sanctum lounge are also kid-free zones for of-age individuals who want to indulge in a little liquid magic.

For those looking for some peace and quiet, there are locations on ship where adults can do one of the most common activities enjoyed by vacationers - relax. The Quiet Cove is a sun-drenched self-care space where adults can have a little me-time by the infinity pool, poolside bar and chic café. Other adult-only retreats include the Senses Spa, Untangled Salon and Hook's Barbery.
