Nadia Carriere of childmode.com tests Parent's Choice Baby Lotion with Aloe Vera & Vitamin E.
As soon as the first of December comes around, I'm usually excited for winter. Everything looks so beautiful covered in white! By mid-January, the novelty has usually worn down and here we are in the month of March and it's still snowing. I'm over it!
This winter has wreaked havoc on my son's skin. His silky soft skin has developed small scales all over it and he has red patches of dryness in the crevices of his arms and legs. We've tried several different creams for dry skin, but they are usually quite greasy or sticky. My son isn't a fan of either option, so we had been using oil as a moisturizer, which relieves some of the itchiness, but hasn't done much in fixing the problem.
A couple of weeks ago, we received a bottle of Parent's Choice Baby Lotion with Aloe Vera & Vitamin E. I had seen this formula in the stores, and it's not overly expensive. In fact, the price is about half of what I usually pay, so naturally I stayed away. I have a theory that cheaper beauty/body products aren't as good as the pricier ones.
Turns out my theory was completely false.
This baby lotion leaves no traces of residue and absorbed into my son's skin in about a minute. After rubbing the excess into my own hands, I was left with smooth skin (no greasiness).
Thanks to the hypoallergenic formula, I've been able to use it on my daughter's skin which tends to be on the sensitive side. It's not fragrance-free, but the scent is fresh, clean and pleasant. Kind of like a cross between baby powder and body soap.
If you're on the lookout for a new body cream that's baby and child-friendly, I highly recommend the Parent's Choice Baby Lotion with Aloe Vera & Vitamin E and if you're on the fence for the same reasons I was—I dare you to try it. You'll be pleasantly surprised!
