Ryan Reynolds, everyone's favorite hot dad, recently welcomed his fourth child with his equally as hot wife, Blake Lively. The family of six is still adjusting to the newest arrival, and Ryan is eagerly trolling his older daughters, James, eight, Inez, six and Betty, three over how it's going down.

But don't worry—all that experience means they managed to get everything on their newborn checklist taken care of a couple kids ago.

Speaking in an interview with ET Canada, he shared that going from two to three kids was a "huge jump" but becoming parents of four children was, "less so."

We're not surprised at all, with many parents saying after three kids it's all a crowd anyway—the more the merrier. In fact, plenty of moms have as many as three kids after 40 (or more)!

He continued, "I cannot speak for my wife, but it's from what I've observed. We love it. We would be idiots to do this again if we didn't love it."

Lively, who is 36, comes from a family with five children while Reynolds, 46, is one of four.

"I come from four. Blake comes from five," he shared, discussing that he always wanted a big family.

Lively, who describes herself as an extremely protective mother, shared with Forbes last year that, "I never felt more myself or at ease in my own body or more confident [ than when pregnant ]—not to say that there aren't a bevy of insecurities coming at me a million times a day, but I just feel incredibly settled."

When discussing his older kids, Reynolds joked, "I haven’t met any of them yet, but they seem great. They have a private Instagram account that I follow."

The gender and name of the couple's fourth child haven't been revealed yet, but we feel like he's been dropping hints that the baby is another little lady.

"I know girls," he said in an interview with Today last fall. "So I'm kind of hoping for that."

The pair is notoriously private, shying away from paparazzi, oversharing or even social media images of their kids. After a notorious run-in with paps in 2021, they've mostly sworn off exposing their brood to the masses.

"It's just not worth it," Lively has said.
