RECALL: Peanut butter from Starbucks may contain Salmonella
Several brands of peanut butter, including Justin's honey peanut butter blend in Starbucks' Protein Bistro Box, have been recalled because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Starbucks have been warning the public not to eat the following peanut butter brands: Harry & David®, Fairytale, Wolferman’s® and Justin’s. These brands may be contaminated with Salmonella.
Justin's brand honey peanut butter blend in Starbucks' Protein Bistro Box is among the affected products. Starbucks has voluntarily recalled the product.
No illnesses have been reported in association with the above brands, but 35 illnesses have been connected to Sunland nut butters, and the above products may contain Sunland peanuts.
