Health Canada has recalled Mother Hubbard's Cupboards' Matthew & Lauren collection crib because the mattress support system may dislodge, resulting in a change in the side height and creating a falling hazard. The recalled product has the model number 8700-700 and can be converted into a double bed.

The recall was issued after Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program determined that the cribs do not meet the requirements of the Cribs, Cradles, and Bassinets Regulations in Canada. Due to the mattress support system potentially being dislodged, the change in the crib's side height could cause a child to fall.

Mother Hubbard's Cupboards has not received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these cribs in Canada.

Approximately 100 units of the recalled cribs were sold in Canada between January 2015 and November 2016.
