RECALL: Kit Kat Chunky varieties and Kit Kat Chunky Collection Giant Egg

Nestlé has issued a voluntary recall of the following four Kit Kat Chunky special varieties and Kit Kat Chunky Collection Giant Egg:

Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter (48 g), best before (date range): 09.2013 to 02.2014

Kit Kat Chunky Hazelnut (48 g), best before 09.2013 to 10.2013

Kit Kat Chunky Chocolate Fudge (48 g), best before 09.2013 to 10.2013

Kit Kat Chunky Caramel (48 g), best before 06.2013 to 07.2013

Kit Kat Chunky Hazelnut Multipack, best before 09.2013 to 12.2013

Kit Kat Chunky Collection Giant Egg, best before 07.2013

This recall affects only the above Kit Kat products.

The voluntary recall was issued because seven consumers notified Nesté after they found small plastic pieces inside the product. There have been no complaints in Canada. As a precaution, they've recalled the whole product line in Canada, the US and abroad.

NOTE: The Canadian recall only mentions Peanut Butter, Hazelnut and the variety multipack products. But in case you visited or have family elsewhere, we thought it important to report all recalled products.
