Last night Haley's daughter had a special part in the show. If you want to do something special with your kids, and you're in the GTA area, check out Disney on Ice this week!
We had such a great time at opening night of Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream, March 14-18, at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.
The Princess and the Frog, Cinderella, and, our personal favourite, Tangled — what could be better? The show was jam-packed with fabulous skating, beautiful choreography, fantastic costumes (Maximus the horse was my favourite!), stunning special effects (200 aerial lanters during the Tangled segment...chills!), lots of audience interaction, and, of course, great music.
The best part of the night was the Lantern Launch. One little girl steps on stage holding a lantern that is almost as big as her. Flynn and Rapunzel skate over to her, and the three of them launch the floating lantern together. And, *sniff,* last night it was my DAUGHTER! Check out all these pics I took crouching (and crying) as low as I could behind her....
When they hugged her, they told her she did such a great job. AWWW!?!
Every night they have a different lantern launcher, so look out for that special part. And enjoy the magical transformation of Cinderella, the spunky sorceress in The Princess and the Frog, the fun pub scene in Tangled, and of course Mickey, Minnie and GOOFY (my all-time favourite).
