Wondering what the heck this actually is? Peter did too
It turns out we have a little Rembrandt in the house.
While Addy was at Lisa's parents' the other day, she created this work of art on their ancient computer with, I'm told, very little assistance from her Auntie Kylee.
Wondering what it is? So was I.
Addy was inspired by something she knows her daddy loves and drew "one of his favourite things," the artist said. I was sitting in my office at work when Lisa called to tell me what that brown box with the yellow bits was. Admittedly, I laughed out loud.
I'm hesitant to tell you what it is; I'm interested in hearing what you think it might be.
Lisa has printed it out so she can add it to all the Addyson memorabilia (to put with the envelope of hair from her first haircut, her hospital bands, even the pink and blue M&Ms we got custom-made that said "Coming Sept 08" and "We're Pregnant!" that we gave to our parents when we found out Lisa was expecting).
Anyway, dear readers, I have two questions for you:
1) How much random stuff (like the memorabilia mentioned above) do you keep for your kids? Is it just a mom thing, because I don't really get why Lisa just had to hold onto the first positive pregnancy test she peed on FOUR YEARS AGO this month.
2) Go on and take a guess. What did Addy draw? (I'll tell you Monday.)
